On this day, Muslims are reminded about the severe trials that Ibrahim (AS) had to go through, and how he emerged successful in each one of them. They are also reminded of his great legacy.The Qur’an speaks extensively about Ibrahim (AS).
He has been given many beautiful names and titles such as: Ummah (A Nation), Imam un-Naas (the leader of mankind), Khaleelullah (the friend of Allah), Muslim (One who submits to the will of Allah), Haneef (An upright Monotheist), al-Siddeeq (the truthful), al-Nabi (the Prophet).We are honored to be from the millah—from the way of Ibrahim (AS).
